From dream to reality – our life in France
We are Cindy and Peter, an adventurous yet down-to-earth couple from the Netherlands who dreamed of a quieter life, closer to nature. After an extensive search for the right house, we knew for sure: this is where we want to be. In 2017, we took the leap and moved to the charming village of Châteauneuf-les-Bains, in the Puy-de-Dôme region (Auvergne).
What started as a dream quickly became reality: our own gîte, surrounded by beautiful nature – and above all, a place we could share with others. Because what could be more fulfilling than allowing guests to experience the peace, beauty, and hospitality that we enjoy every single day?
With love, we have furnished our gîte to be both comfortable and atmospheric, with great attention to detail. We believe it's important that guests immediately feel at home and truly unwind. Whether you're here for an active holiday or just to relax – we’re happy to offer tips and share our favorite spots in the area.
Our days are filled with enjoying the peace and open space: working in the garden, walking the dog, sipping coffee in the morning sun, preparing a delicious meal, or having a good conversation with our guests at the end of the day. And time and again, we realize: this is the life that suits us.
